Electric Gardens 2007

Right Guard Crowd Management provided a very comprehensive security package to the Electric Gardens 2007 event, held at Mount Ephraim in Kent. The event was hailed as a huge success with thousands of people attending over the weekend, with many camping on site . A huge line up of artists and DJ’s performed on the various stages.

 

Whitefriars

The Whitefriars development in Canterbury Kent began with the construction of the prestigious Fenwicks department store. Our Guarding Division were required to protect the construction of the store. The site attracted a lot of interest, due to the size, and marked the beginning of the changing backdrop of Canterbury. A launch event also took place on completion including fireworks.

 

Singapore Day

Early in 2009 we were approached to provide a security package to Hampton Court, for the Singapore day. The event was hosted by the Singapore government and attended by thousands of Singaporeans, from both here in the UK, and from Singapore. Several lengthy planning meetings were required (including with the Metropolitan Police) prior to the event, which took place in April 2009. We provided our Crowd Management Services, Stewarding Teams, Guarding Services and several members of our Close Protection team; who provided security and protection for the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. The event was very successful, and passed safely.

 

Yves Rossy (Rocket Man) English Channel Flight

In September 2008, we secured the landing site at St Margaret's Nr Dover, in Kent for the record breaking flight by Yves Rossy, known as rocket man, who flew the English Channel with a rocket and carbon fibre wing attached. The crossing attracted mass global media interest. Our assignment included securing the landing site, the press camp, and on the day of the flight crowd management, as Yves Rossy landed in a nearby field; which became a media scrum.

 

Tour De France

In July 2007 we provided 24 hr security and crowd management for the finish section of the Tour De France, in Canterbury, Kent. Our ever changing services were to include the press areas, the viewing areas, road closures, parks and numerous infrastructures and media units. We also managed the securing of various huge tv screens that were positioned in the numerous parks and open spaces in the centre of Canterbury.
