Loss prevention has never been so important to the survival for the retail industry. With CCTV playing a big part in the reduction of stock loss, the need for professional security staff are essential to react instantly.

 

Right Guard retail division, provide trained and SIA licensed personnel to numerous high street stores concentrating on raising the profile and raising the standards of various outlets whilst reducing stock loss. Our retail officers are distinctive in our traditional crisp uniform which is easily identifiable, we also vary our uniforms to meet with our clients requests, and we believe the security officer s uniform should reflect the style of store.

 

Our male and female store detectives are extremely versatile and confident in their discreet approach, maintaining integrity whilst our uniformed officers are of a high profile which greatly reduces the opportunist.

 

Our uniformed officers play a big part not only on the shop floor, but in assisting with deliveries, stock control and ensuring the staff are safe as we believe our role includes the safety and welfare of the store staff too. We believe in sharing advice with store management to improve security measures whilst reducing risks and improving safety.

 

We work closely with the police ensuring that information is shared; our officers pocket notebooks are completed as an on-going record of incidents and behaviour patterns that can be referred to assist in the day to day security duties.

 

We have a strong belief in our training that this is key to the success of our arrest rates and ability to cope with the issues that surround an incident. Our officers are given initial training with the additional physical safety skills to deal with the practical steps, i.e. Arresting a shop lifter and managing the offender .Our officers are equipped with RED WEB offender spray, and many are hand cuff trained.

 

Our sister company Mission Training, provides regular training and refresher courses to ensure our staff have the ability to face the daily threat levels and tasks of the retail industry.
